All you bands out there without a label or record deal-Help could be at hand. Here at salford records were just people with an interest in music, and a passion to make things happen, were all ex band members or promoters or band managers of some description, with a few years experience between us, and we wanna try and pass that on and help new bands or unsigned bands/singers or anyone who might need a bit of advice or pointing in the right direction a bit of help, And if we don't know we can find out for you, as we all have picked up contacts over the years, some famous, some not so, It might be good advice and help you, it might not, what have you got to lose. As of this moment in time (april 09) were just starting to get things moving a little quicker, were in the process of looking for premises for a recording studio and rehearsal rooms to hopefully get our own salford records, record label up and running, and maybe YOU can help us with this, as advice or suggestions, even financial help, is always welcome. Were looking to add bands to our list and even consider management if that's what your looking for and we can help you in that direction. you can send us your demos and we can help with getting you played on Salford radio and other radio stations, we have even had OCD played on radio one, check them out on our website, there's a link to our website on this page. We can also help with gigs for you were promoting gigs for The Crescent Pub here in salford, which is actually on the crescent on the main A6 in to Manchester, which is just minutes away from salford university and 5 minutes from manchester city center, this venue is a great place to get yourself noticed, with literally thousands of students on the doorstep you cant miss up an opportunity to play here, All bands/solos any body any genere is welcome to play, message us for more details or check our blog for info.
