My name is Dan Patton. I am 14 years old, and live in Swinton, Manchester. I Have played Drums for several bands over the past few years. "Broken Dream" .. "O.C.D."..."Hard To Handle"..."The Change"

I started playing Drums when I was 10 years old. I would go and watch my Dads band rehearse, and his drummer at the time, Colin, would let me play on his kit while the packed away.

That Christmas I got my first kit. A Yamaha DD55. I played on that untill my birthday when I got a Yamaha DTxpress.

A few months later I came home to find my first real acoustic kit set up in my Dads living room. It was a Tama Rockstar Custom. I played this kit for the next two years. And still play it now at smaller venues. I have just got a new kit after saving most of my Gig money for months. Its a Tama Starclassic.

My Dad would take me to local Jam Nights where I got to play with lots of different musicians. It was at one of these Jam Nights where we met Max Cottam, a guitarist from Leigh. Then with the help of one of my Dads old friends Haydn Jones. The four of us started our own Jam Night.

Thats where I met Kurt & Cam Maunder. Identical twins from Bolton. They were 12 and I was 11. After playing together that night we formed "Obsessive Compulsive Disorder" (O.C.D.)

I Played with O.C.D. until 2009. I am now lookig to join or form a serious band with the aim of making a carrier in music. I have also played with a few other bands when they have needed a stand in Drummer. I even got to play on a cruise ship with a band called The Flyers. Me, Dad & Max Still do our Jam Nights too, where we get to meet and play with lots of cool people.
