I have always been interested in music from a young age....From entering talent competions on holidays to joining a Performing Arts college when I left school, I always loved to sing. As my dad was a musician and was into his rock music, I always had that atmosphere around me, but being a young girl I was into the Spice Girls and S Club 7 and stuff like that. It wasnt untill I went to college and was told I had a natural talent for singing when I started to become alot more open minded and really eager to do something with music.... I took part in joining a support band for an indie band named "the underground heroes". I absolutely loved this experience and it made me more determined to get out and do something! I then met Samir who up until the age of 7 lived in London, so moving to Manchester also broadened his horizons in music. He took up guitar lessons in school, starting off with a classical guitar, then developed his ability to play around with different sounds and styles of music. This made me want to also learn to play the guitar, so I did, although really not that good, I will carry on trying!! We started writing songs together early on in 2008 and learned that we could come up with some likeable material. We worked well together and decided to record our music to see if we could get ourselves abit more "out there".... Since that, we have appeared on Salford City Radio playing some of our songs live and also a festival at Pendleton Church. We were also told about a local "Jam night", so we decided to go down and play a few songs there, which had a really good turnout and we recieved brilliant feedback. I hope to do many more shows and performances in the near future as its what I love doing! And so hope that anybody who listens, loves and enjoys it as much as I do making it!
